Leaving the road ss3 Flaminia at the km 206.500 you will enters a bucolic landscape where the ancient scents, the bright green and the golden yellow of the wheat make you let yourself go to nature's sweetness.
The Rio Verde Camping Village was founded in 1980 thanks to the decision of the owners to share their park made of centuries-old trees, with friends from all over the world. It is situated in a valley crossed by the stream Chiascio, along the "Sentiero Italia", in the Monte Cucco Regional Park, in the lush Umbrian countryside.
It lies at an altitude of only 500 m, but being surrounded by the mountains, in the evening, even in summer, the weather is cool also thanks to the trees characterizing the campsite. a warm welcome will bring you into the nature!
A cosy and familiar atmosphere will host you.
Bungalows
If you prefer an alternative accommodation, the campsite also features 14 bungalows, built according to anti-seismic systems, equipped with insulated roofs making the interior cool even with hot temperatures. They all feature a kitchenette with dishes and basic kitchen tools, veranda and bathroom with shower.
The bungalows have from 2 to 4 bed- places each one.
Restaurant
The small restaurant by the swimming pool allows guests to taste the local specialties, made of biologic products, most of them coming from our vegetable garden and from our farm. Combined with the excellent wines of Rio Verde's wineshop. From the lasagna to the fettuccine with truffle flavored mushrooms, from the excellent grilled meat to the "sweet" creations of the chef.
Swimmingpool
The pool is open from 10 am to 7 pm
there is a lifeguard for all the opening time
lenght 22 mt x 12 mt, deep from 90 cm till 240cm. the water check is done every 2 hours
