Umbria is the cradle of masterpieces and enchanting places. A collection of excellence. The magnificent medieval towns perfectly preserved, laying as precious gems in the unspoilt landscape of the green heart of Italy. A few kilometers from us you can visit: Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Gualdo Tadino, Spoleto, Spello, Montefalco, Città di Castello, each one with its peculiarities and characteristics which will make the visitor dive in the past.

Umbria, together with the neighboring Marches and Tuscany, gave birth to great artists: from the most ancient ones: Giotto, Perugino, Pinturicchio, Piero della Francesca, Raffaello, to the most recent ones, Dottori, Burri, just to name a few who left their wonderful masterpieces preserved in our Museums and churches.

In Umbria you can find spectacular Nature's wonders: from prehistory with the charming caves of Monte Cucco, which will make you discover the heart of the earth, a very interesting karst phenomenon among the longest and largest ones of Europe, the fossil forest of Dunarobba, near Terni.

The extraordinary Cascata delle Marmore (Marmore's Falls) is a man-made waterfall created by the ancient Romans. Its total height is 165 m (541 feet), making it the highest man-made waterfall in the world.

Its source is a portion of the waters of the river Velino ,the rest of the river flows into a hydroelectric power plant. Its flow is turned on and off according to a published schedule, to satisfy the needs of tourists.
