Once upon a time there was a country house where a large family lived happily.

Springtime was all about playing in the flowery meadows, by the creek , watching nature flourish, sharing the joy of the newborn puppies. During the summer, the house would be filled with friends who would spend their time outdoors in the greenery It was an enchanted world where seasons were marked by crops, rain and sunshine, snow and summer heat.

Everything evolved around the country life, the joy of harvesting fruits and vegetables, the birth of a yolk, and the smell of freshly made bread.

The family farming tradition has been followed by Daniela and Francesca, who have always enjoyed the pleasure of hospitality. So they decided to open their house and share their wonderful world with friends from all around the world by setting up a Farmhouse “agriturismo Casale la Fornace”.

A simple and genuine hospitality : nature here is wild and always at its best. In fact, flowers and plants are luxuriant, making it possible for our bees to make very special honey.

Our garden goes in line with the seasons’ products: zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, salads, strawberries, blueberries, etc. which are carefully grown by the expert hands of Daniela.

Hens, rabbits, geese and ducks, glean in the soil. Horses move around freely in their paddocks, providing fabulous rides in the nearby trails.

There are plenty of wild animals: foxes, porcupine, hares, badgers, deers, weasels, and lovely squirrels that jump from branch to branch happily chasing each other. Herons and other species inhabit the area of the Chiascio creek, where aquatic animals are abundant.

The House “casale la Fornace”, built in the second half of the 1800 , was remodeled in 2002. The structure was made more funtional and anti seismic.

Each room is equipped with a bathroom; the decoration is country style, lovely and simple, in tune with the surroundings; each room is different. The living room with its big fireplace calls for socialization among the guests, if they so wish.

The happy gatherings around the table covered with delicious food , together with typical barbecues, attract everyone and make every meal special. The breakfast is made of local products and home made cakes.

The garden of the farmhouse Casale La Fornace, features many ancient trees, some were planted when different family members were born: Pines, walnuts, cypresses, firs,cedars, apples, hazelnuts.

There is a very interesing and ancient yew tree, used by the archers from the Fossato di Vico Club, to build their arches according to the medieval tradition. The harmonious environment will make your stay relaxing and pleasant, your dreams calm and your sleep restorative All of this will help you clear your mind of any trouble.
